Good Bye Chest Tubes!!!!!
Well we just pulled out the final chest tubes. Ashton was very scared to have them pulled. He wanted to be asleep, however they did give him some medicine that will make him not remember what happened. As they took them out they asked him to hold his breathe, but it still took his breathe as they came out. He is very tired with all that has happened yesterday and today. He does not like to cough because it hurts too much. They are doing back and chest thearpy(patting on his chest and back). He is having a little harder time breathing deep and his SATs are lower. The nurse went to discuss with the Dr. Let's hope we can get him breathing better.

my mom also sends her love and prayers. if there is anything i could ever do, please, let me know.
Positive side of having them pulled now is he won't have to wait to have them pulled out later
:0)
I hope his saturations come back up and that he will be breathing easier very soon.
I pray that the night is good as he really needs to rest for recovery. . .and some more Z's for you guys would be great too.
